Combining coastline and countryside, Concarneau features a good diversity of footpaths leading to attractive landscapes where shades of blues and greens blend harmoniously.

Walking, hiking or cycling, with family or friends, from short circular routes to long distance trails, you are spoilt for choice. Follow the information boards to learn about the town’s heritage or the way marked paths to discover unsuspected scenery.

The GR 34, 19 km of coastal paths overlooking the sea, the rocks and rugged coastline and much more if you so wish.

Les Trois Vallées (7 km)
Starting from the station car park. 1.30 hr walking or 1 hr mountain biking (medium level). Woodlands and semi-urban landscapes alternate on this trail.

Le Dorlett – Kérandon (6,5 km)

A very pleasant family trail, pushchair friendly. Starting from the car park opposite the school in Robert Jan avenue. 1.15 hr walking – 45 mn hybrid biking (easy level).

Le Moros (5,8 km)
Shaded circuit around the stretch of the river Moros, starting from the car park behind the church of Beuzec-Conq.

Beuzec-Moros (4,6 km) Discovery of Beuzec-Conq, its fountain and its washhouse. Starting from the car park behind the church of Beuzec-Conq.

Circuit Rive Gauche (9,8 km)
Excellent viewpoints over the town, the harbour and along the inlet of the Minaouët with nice wooded areas. Starting from Lanriec, opposite the cemetery. 2 hr walking – 1 hr mountain biking (easy level).

Information boards

Several quarters of the town: the town centre, the seafront, the Ville Close and the Passage, are punctuated with information boards, each giving useful historical or town planning background details on the various sites and monuments.
The ornithological boards on the seafront help identify the different species encountered.

Bretagne Vivante

In high season, Bretagne Vivante organises guided naturalist tours to explore the fauna and flora of the seashore, the local countryside as well as the Glénan national nature reserve. Departure from the fishing port.
