Created in the 1950’s, François Séhédic’s cider factory has, since its origins, been specialising in the production of drinks made from old local variety apples. In the heart of their certified orchards, they elaborate their juices in the traditional way. The range of products is available to individuals direct from the estate or by consignment.
Discover its speciality of ‘confit de noix de Saint-Jacques’ (preserved scallops). This cannery has been part of Concarneau’s history since 1893, when it used to specialise in scallops freshly landed by the factory. Its recipe of scallops cooked in fresh butter and preserved in large earthenware pots has remained unchanged since. Over the years, the Courtin factory has diversified its range of products to include tuna, mackerels, fish soups and potted fish meats, all made in the traditional way.
