Town of Art and History


Come and discover the exceptional heritage of this town. Labelled ‘Ville d’Art et d’Histoire’ ( town of Art and History), the heritage centre proposes a variety of workshops for children aged 7 to 11, general or themed tours of the town which include: ‘Mediaeval Concarneau, the canning industry, host stories, pleasure boating on a tray’.

High season:

Discovery visit: Everyday 15.00hr, and 17.00hr Sundays 17.00hr

- Heritage workshops for children (7-11): Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays 15.00hr

- Show visit – Sundays 20.00hr

Guided visits can be arranged for groups all year round by prior arrangement.

 Low season:

- Theme discovery visit: Saturdays 14.30hr

Peak and off-peak programmes are available from the tourist office.
