Situated within the exceptional heart of the Ville Close, the Fishing Museum houses a unique exhibition on the history and techniques of fishing throughout the world. It will take you a couple of hours to see the displays, videos, aquariums, models and boats to become learned about who fishes what, where and how, shipbuilding and the various methods to preserve fish.
Books, posters, maps, models and other maritime souvenirs, many of which exclusive to the museum, are available from the gift-shop.
